I pray that God will be our guide

That He bless this union soon to be

I know He's up there watching over us

That He's taking care of you and me

I ask for His grace and mercy

I pray for His patience and strength

To love you in all conceivable ways

And for the courage to help you on bad days

I pray that He'll hep us to be kind to each other

Especially when problems arise

I ask that we'll always treat one another

As a precious, invaluable prize

I pray our souls will blend forever

And that God will be first in our unity
