Common Sense

Common sense can be an ugly beast at times!

Common sense tells me to stay away!

Common sense tells me that we are impossible!

Common sense tells me that I am a fool!

But if common sense ruled the world

There would never been a Mona Lisa.

No music. Poems no way.

Common sense would make beauty obsolete.

My mind, well my mind is occupied

With one thing.

It is the first thing I think of when I wake.

It is the last thing I think of before I sleep.

It takes up most of my day!

It has invaded my dreams.

Common sense tells me to not think about it.

But my heart tells me I love you!

And I always will!
