Dreams and Wishes of Destiny

Every morn when I awake

Two thoughts suddenly appear

One is being out there living my dream

The second is YOU

I ask in prayer every night

That I be shown what is meant for me

Am I meant to move those miles?

Am I meant to be by your side?

I'm pulled apart by the tide

An important choice

Life changing indeed

Is this what I need?

I have to figure this

Need to know if it is right

Caring about you each passing night

Never wanting to hang up

Wanting to be in your arms as I sleep

Being this far apart is making me weak

Are you the one I have been seeking?

How would I know?

Only by packing up and leaving

This miserable place

So cold and lonely

Going to where sunshine lives

Where tides sweep the shore

Finding you

Waiting for me to enter

Your almost perfect life

Wondering if you would take me in...

SNAP!

A never ending daydream inside my head

If I want it

I will get it

Out there I will find you

And try it out

Only then will I know if you are my destiny

But until then
