Fake
I fake a smile, I fake a laugh
Maybe I am a fake, maybe I am half
A man, a person human being,
I am not being, just existing
In the wind I am twisting like a leaf
Floating on the winds of time
Seeming as if I am flying high when I am merely
Floating, drifting and powerless
Waiting to fall and waiting to rest
The unspoken apologies
lead to the unspoken forgiveness
leading to the outspoken sorrow
I fake a smile, I fake a laugh
Maybe I am fake maybe I am half
A heartbeat, half a tear, half the sound
Of I love you in your ear
Just I love,
I loathe you or I love you
Half a picture gives, half a tale
Gives half the reason for a lie
Half the excuse to fake half a smile ready to die
The unheard screams of pain
lead to the unheard cries of love
leading to the deafening whispers of good-bye

I like them both, the original and the revised, but I like the original better. Good job though!
