Feathers in Defense
Feathers in defense, my luck makes sense:
Lately my attention turned up above, awe have I felt embraced by the higher love. He deemed me worthy enough to grant me an ally who flew in like the dove.
A comrade assigned to my unending protection, a winged friend who daily inspires me to perfection. When greed tempts my path, my partner slaps it with his wrath.
For on this battle ground called earth all our souls have been frail since birth. To them our problems we trust for with them our prayers are never lost. My third party arbitrator must be a pillar of strength and patience, for my head is always filled with self indulgence and vengeance. So this friendly custodian of my well being has his work cut out for the time being, and again I express gratitude to the one, for giving me a friend not just for fun.
Feathers at guard, better luck I’ll never have.
