For Esther
at niagara falls
overnight stop for lovers
and honeymooners,
a temporary visit
a chance to catch your breath
and compare
your special one
with nature’s love
cascades of waterfall
shimmering
your wife’s glow, her eyes
shining
both jewels in the
early evening

My wife, Esther and I met in mid December of 1974. She was an attractive lady, (still is) divorced 7 years with three children 10-16. After two dates I proposed, married March 27, 1975, in Sarnia, Ontario. That was 33 years ago and we are still on our honeymoon. The poem above is about our honeymoon at Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Co-authors Richard and Esther Provencher invite you to view their newest novel SOMEONE’S SON written during Richard’s recovery from a stroke, which gob-smacked him in 1999. It is a Young Adult novel dealing with a family crisis. http://www.synergebooks.com/ebook_someonesson.html
