Good Night
I say good night tonight
I know we’ll be alright
But I don’t want to wait the time
That’s why I’m writing this rhyme
It’s all sour like a lime
And it almost feels like organized crime
But all I want is a guarantee
Because it hurts to know you love me,
but were not together
It’s just as wild as the weather
Just about as rough as leather
We just need to be brought together
I love you a lot
I never want it to rot
I hope it’s just a clot that gets cleared
This is just getting really weird
So once again I write to you
I hope it sticks like a tattoo
And we can brew like a stew
And we can be clean like shampoo
If we start over
We’ll be lucky as a four leaf clover
I’m writing this to win your heart
Because I don’t want us to be apart
Were just as unique like a piece of art
Or music made my Mozart
I just want you to see
I’ll even get down on my knees
I don’t think you’ll disagree
