In A Name, In A Heart
I met him through my poem, he commented on it said he loved it.
But in that time of sharing our hearts desires, he knew me as Sasha.
Until recently I told him what my name is.
Ever since he found out our friendship changed.
But what is it in a name.
A name is our true identity.
But what I know is that our name is something we claim.
But he should’ve known, that whether he knew me as the real me or whether just on my name I write under.
It goes to show what people think of us.
What people who’d judge us upon.
I am, running out of words here Rinoz.
I thought I could muster up a decent poem to bid farewell.
I hope you know that we are all on a journey.
Where ever life takes you in the next few weeks.
Just know that I am glad you came into my life.
Like you said the other night that you couldn’t have helped me
That you wish you could, but for the first time.
Yesterday you finally saw it.
You finally saw me happy.
You just wont understand.
But thanks to you I have discovered
That I was put on this world for a purpose
And you are going of to fight in the war.
A young man. Ending his life when he himself had so much to give this world.
Thanks for the chats Rinoz.
Thanks for a lifetime of your poems on here.
You are a deep poet just like me.
We are the chosen ones.
