Just One More Time

Just one more time I want to trust...

one more time to open up.

As the years have passed,

you think that staying closed,

not becoming loving to anybody

because of the pain

you went through already,

of loving somebody but

only to betrayed by that person

having that person hurt you

so hard and deep that you should have died,

but you didn't.

I too think that way,

yet why is it that every time,

every time I see you I find myself without defense

I can't seem to conceal myself.

You make me feel like if all that pain can be cured

and treated just by seeing,

spending time with you...

well your wrong you can't cure me

let alone treat me,

then why is it when you say:

"Don't cry, I'm here"

you already healed me,

in your eyes I see everything

I have always been looking for:

Peace, Care, and Love.

You have me in your arms

protected by anything that wants to hurt me,

you protect me from my past,

create with me a better future.

Just one more time I will trust...

one more time I'll open up,

when I say one more time

with you it means that just this time will be forever... with you.
