My Shadow

When my shadow is with me

Is my solitude complete?

When people get close to me

They stand on my shadow

Some stand on my shoulder

Some stand inside my heart

Some shift their feet

Some stands firm

In the company of others

My shadow shows

I am not free

All shadows are one

Is it the mark of my creator?

Are there shadows in heaven?

Hi Aj, long time no see lol I love the way you describe how people stand on your shadow, and what it may say about the character of the other person, and also what it says about how it affects you. I like the idea of connectiveness, and you leave the reader contemplating your questions about the everafter... math lol
