The Traveler
All along, I’ve been looking for something I cannot find. This world seems intent on messing with my mind.
Born unexpected but not unloved, I quickly kicked off my shoes and began a voyage of a kind. A prolonged path of personal enlightenment, laid with hurdles and many a serious entanglement. Though speech and culture pester me like the prometheus vulture, I’ll persist on my search, to find my place on this earth.
Every new spirit and soul, an experience they impart. But dubious has been the nature of their heart. A mask at every turn filled with lies and sorrow, and I’m still trying to define where I should be tomorrow.
The warm radiant light, brisk winds, rain and cold snow, I learned to weather the weather and know, that my mind is a restless quest for my personal nest. So continue to fly I will, through the planet a misjudged rider loving every so called accident. I’ve come to realize that the road is my place and the journey my purest destiny.
If these be the lessons learned, let my heart be at peace and have the serenity I´ve earned.
