We Rise
To our people who struggle everyday
Trying to climb out of the bottomless pits
In the endless issues of racial differences
To be looked down upon
We fight and fight for equality
For the leaders of this country segregate us
Look at us as a problem
For society won’t be the same without us
This economy won’t be shit if it weren’t for us
The population is empowered with our people
We have the buying power
This country would fall
The f*cken country wants peace for all
But without us, it would fall to pieces
They use their incompetent politics to keep us down
The assholes of authorities are used to keep us quiet
So when we speak we are never heard
They muzzle our damn rights
And not treat us as equals
Their solution is to lock us up in cages
That never solves the f*cken problem
Or for their last option, just deport them
This culture is bonded together
From our families who have done enough
To get us to where we are now
To our representatives who stand with
Their fist in the air
My pride runs like the blood and sweat that
Our people labor on
All the jobs they are forced to take
Not because they want to, because they f*cken have to
I can’t blame them for what they do
They make their money, just to care for their families
I will love those who paved the road before us
To get us where we are today
To those who passed and try to elevate our heritage and our people
They only imagine they are succeeding
But we are only getting larger in numbers
And together we will live in struggle and strife
In this f*cken country, were we will never be loved.

Your poem is impressive! It feels like you are protesting against something...
