Your phone call
The time ticks by and I keep waiting
I get irritated as u generally end up making me wait
I now have a doubt,
You are out on a trip and make a mess of myself
Though you do this every time.
Imaginations run wild
What would have kept you away from calling me
I break my head to find an answer
I remember one of my friend said
She has seen you with some one else
Maybe you’re with another girl
The thought makes me want to rage with anger
You said you’d never flirt.
Suddenly the phone rings
My heart skips a beat and begins to sing.
I knew you would call,
You said you would after all.
I rushed to answer about to say I missed you
but my pride stops me
Holding those words back
I ask you for an explanation
Those words keep lingering
Honey I forgot my purse
All I was left out with a 100rs
And it was difficult to manage
How could I be so mean
Thinking that he would keep me waiting
I have humiliated my feelings
I feel the tears burn slowly down my check.
All I wish now is to tell him
I miss your phone call..
